Bobcat / Skid Steer Loader Servicing and Repairs

To reduce downtime you need to service your bobcat or skid steer/mini loader on a regular basis.

Keeping to a regular service schedule will lower your running costs; preventative maintenance is the key. At Carr Mechanical Services we will advise you of any issues found while servicing your machine and whether they need immediate attention or attention in the future.

Pre Start Checks

As well as regular maintenance, a good pre start check is a must. This will involve checking air filters, engine oil level, hydraulic oil level, cooling system, draining your water separator (diesel machines only), tensioning wheel nuts, greasing all pivot points and a good visual check over. By doing your pre start checks everyday you will notice the small things and be able to repair them before they break, saving you money and avoiding those costly repairs.

Don’t forget to clean your machine as this will reduce the wear on the components that are lower down on the machine. By removing the build up of mud and rock, you will be able to see if something is not how it is meant to be. Don’t forget to grease your machine after washing so you expel all the water that has penetrated during the washing process, thereby increasing the life of bearings, bushes and pins.

We service and maintain all brands of bobcats, skid steer and mini loaders including Bobcat, Case, Caterpillar, Dingo, JCB, John Deere, Kanga, Mustang, New Holland, Terex , Toro, Toyota, Vermeer, Viking and many more.
